Translating the unique perceptions of unusually shaped plants into the creative piece.
Goal : Understand the characteristics of shapes, transform the natural forms to expand imagination, and craft a sculptural original piece.
Flowers used : Lotos pods, lotos leaf (Dry)
The lotus seed pod is immediately recognizable for its unique and unusual shape, featuring a pattern reminiscent of cookie cutouts, with its edges and dotted surface. This distinctiveness is accentuated by its placement atop irregularly curved stems. The large leaves, which vary in color on their front and back, resemble a leather-like material. Their ability to bend, fold, and wrap adds a functional aspect that stimulates the curiosity of creators.

Steps of creation :
1. Shape the material by rolling and folding it in your hands.
2. Secure it with wire. Then wrap the wire with tape to create a part that resembles a single flower.
3.Treat each part as an individual flower when considering the design composition.
