I loved Azumi's ikebana course! We did a 2hr session and it was the perfect amount of time. She gave us a quick history of ikebana and explained the principles. This is what sets ikebana apart from other floral courses; she taught us to 'listen' to each flower, and to consider texture, depth, balance and contrast. It's a true artform. Azumi has very calm and kind energy and she was a pleasure to be with. I feel inspired to make my own ikebana arrangements at home now!
